Privacy notice for the waitlist
This notice explains what happens to your email address when you join the Pointini waitlist. The website itself sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies.
Who is responsible for your data
Kasparas Anusauskas, Vilnius, Lithuania.
Email: privacy@pointini.com. We answer within one month.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The time you signed up, and the time and IP address of your click on the link in our confirmation email. These are kept as proof that you agreed.
We never ask for your first language, accent or anything about your health.
Why, and on what legal basis
To email you when Pointini opens, invite you to test it early, and send about one update a month on how it's going. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Giving your email is voluntary; without it we can't send these emails.
Who processes it for us
Our email service, MailerLite Limited (88 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2, Ireland), stores the list and sends the emails for us under a data processing agreement. MailerLite stores data in the European Union. Its US affiliate may access data under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses. The website runs on Cloudflare, which passes your form submission to MailerLite and doesn't keep it.
How long we keep it
- If you don't confirm your sign-up, you get no further emails, and we delete your address within three months.
- If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you at once. We keep only what we need to prove your earlier consent.
- We delete the whole waitlist 12 months after Pointini opens, for anyone who hasn't created an account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us; this doesn't affect emails sent before. We make no automated decisions about you and build no profile of you.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija), L. Sapiegos g. 17, 10312 Vilnius, vdai.lrv.lt, or to the data protection authority where you live.
